Are You Limiting Your Income?

When first starting out in internet marketing, I was afraid of the big ticket items. I think most people are at the beginning.

If you're one of those people you need to think about this....how many $50.00 eBooks would it take to equal one $900.00 big ticket item? The answer of course is 18. That means you have to sell 18 times the amount, get 18 times the buyers, get 18 times the visitors to your site to make the same amount of money. Doesn't make sense does it?

The first thought that came to my mind when I started online was that it is so much harder to sell big ticket items...the truth is it isn't! Matter of fact it might be easier if you have a great product to sell an item that is $900.00 than it is to sell an ebook for $50.00.

Let's say you have a high 2% ratio to visitors to buyer with your $50.00 ebook. So, for every 100 people that visits your site you sell 2 ebooks and make $100.00. Now, for the $900 big ticket item you only have a 1/2% ratio to visitors to buyers. That means for every 200 visitors you sell 1. You make $900.00. You would have to have 900 visitors to your site to make the same amount of money you could selling the big ticket item with 200 visitors at 1/2% ratio.

Why work 4 1/2 times as hard to make the same amount of money? Why have all the headaches of 18 people when you can only have the headache of 1 person? Again, it just doesn't make sense, does it?

If you're one of those people who have been afraid of big ticket items then it's time to change. No one that I know of has made a great living on line selling only ebooks for $50.00. They usally have it so it's a lead-in to a bigger high ticket item sale. A backend sale. As you have heard before, I'm sure, that's where the money is, on the backend. Go ahead and sell your ebook, there's nothing wrong with that at all but let it lead to a future higher sale.
