World Power Brokers Readying for WWIII
Einstein when ask how did he believe WWIII would be fought said that he didn't know, but replied; "WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones!" A scary notion indeed; bet we all hope he is wrong about that. Yet as we look at the World today and the differences, which separate our world and divide us as one unique species on the surface of this pale blue dot, one has to see the logic of Einstein's prediction. Then there are the conspiracy theorists, who claim to hold the truth taking their ideas from the book of revelation, Nostradamos and from recent history of the Cold War; they believe that the powers to be are out to get them. If you look at the recent periods we see that the money elite and industrialists continued throughout the war. Hedging their bets on both sides, wouldn't you, if you had that much investment at stake? Many of the Industrialists sold to both sides those things they needed during the build up and later into the war. Mankind in his ambitious endeavors, always buys into the sound and fury, generally picks sides or allows the process to continue thru inaction, which as we know is indeed a choice in itself. A war with China today does not make much sense, as we are both trading partners, yet as the trade wars continue, there will be flare-ups. Indeed in a decade or more, we may not have come together on issues of level playing fields or ideals of civilization government structures. Yet, Einstein also warns us you cannot simultaneously prepare and prevent war. Currently China is building up their military, yet they have no enemies. Europe will not attack them. Russia is selling them new Migs. The United States, well we are their life line and largest trading partner, hell we are funding their build up. China is not producing on a level playing field, as they are in need of power plants, treatment plants, water pipelines and roads. Not to mention flood control, better healthcare and education. But rather than work on these most important flows of their civilization they are preparing for war. Even the Boeing Jets they are buying they are asking for options, which can be used for AWACS type aircraft or even high-energy airborne lasers. It should be obvious that they are strategically planning to defend and attack. But from who? They have states they want Taiwan and as with Hitler it always starts with one country right? Appeasement thru superior force, using a page out of Carl von Clauswitz's "On War" with a touch of Sun Tzu. History tells us not to be surprised when the hatchet falls. As we become more upside down in trade deficit, can we afford to sell ourselves to the next super power, after all China will in fact get there, as they pierce thru their industrial revolution at full stride, while they carry train loads of dollars to towards their 1000-year plan. If you were an international non-American entrepreneurial industrialist, wouldn't you hedge your bet? Of course you would and they are. So, with this known, lets serious consider winning and strategize for future periods to come. Think on this. Seven Things That Make Me Angry I watch the TV news and I get angry. I really need to quit that. It's not good for my blood pressure. However, there are certain things that always get me going no matter how hard I try to ignore them. They get me hot under the collar and I guess they always will. Such a back track will not save them from future attacks and it certainly assists the Jihadists in their war on the civilized world. Truckers Take Some Hits and Keep On Trucking After 9-11 insurance rates on Independent Truck Drivers and smaller trucking companies showed an average increase of over 30%. Larger trucking companies are generally self insured, however incessant lawsuits have also hurt them and caused higher self insurance funds causing decreased earnings and thus higher over all shipping rates to the consumer. Is it just hubris, or ...? In what the Americans love to describe as the war on terror, there have been no clear winners even though it has been physically going on now for over three years. By the looks of it, the tussle between the United States of America and its perceived enemy will outlast the Second World War at least in terms of duration, if nothing else. If so, it certainly represents a horrible scenario for the planet. Anyone Awake Out There? As we reel from the news of the recent bombings in London, England, it is incumbent upon all of us to examine, seriously, why such attacks by Islamic Extremists are occurring. We cannot combat what we do not understand, let alone try to wage an effective war against such an insidious enemy. Yes, perhaps that will help with accountability of the taxpayers wasted dollars in Health Care indeed. But how will that help the quality of Health Care? Huge companies who lied to stockholders, the SEC and the government. They all took stockholders' money and then violated their trust by mishandling it for the profit of top officers. Good old common greed at work at its best. But isn't that what's becoming of America? It's all about the money. The Wall of Honor Many Americans have children, fathers, mothers, grandparents, other family members and friends who have served in the armed forces. For these individuals, they understand the importance of protecting this country because of the sacrifices these American servicemen and women have made for us as citizens of this great nation. A Journey Through History History repeats itself, goes the cliche. It does so, perhaps, for the human beings to have more than one chance of learning a lesson if they have missed out on the first opportunity. If Pakistani history is anything to go by, it is a clear indication that they, as a nation, happen to be pretty dumb fellows, unable to learn anything at all despite the fact that history has been very kind to them by way of repeating the same chain of events time and time again. They sure have disappointed history on this count. Federal Trade Commission Falsely Purports Franchise Disclosure is Cost Effective In a recent report on the status of the Franchising Industry, the Federal Trade Commission knowingly and falsely purported that its Franchise Disclosure Rules are cost effective. In fact; there is nothing inexpensive or "cost-effective" about the 190 to 230 pages of disclosures that franchisors must give to prospective franchisees. Anyone purporting such misrepresentations does so either for personal gain (Lawyer) or out of spite against franchisors due to a misunderstanding of what the franchising model is or how it works. Clearing Land Mine Fields from the Air You know we have sent many, many army tanks with protruded devices used for minesweeping to the Middle East from the Logistics Base in our country. They are assigned to removing the left over land mines of past wars. Each year hundreds of thousands lose their lives and limbs to these past war buried relics. The army tanks which remove these devices have not really been redesigned since the second WW, hardly any real improvements in their designs. But it has occurred to me that you can sweep these mines from the air if you want. Here is how it might be done; first, a powerful helicopter drags flat plates of steel along the ground with skids, in front of that is heavy chains dragging approximately 20 yards connected to each other like the kind your used to level fields and scrap away dirt clods and then the chains of smaller size actually in the air attached to cables attached to the helicopter about 50ft AGL.
